Overview: Annual Conference & Meeting for IIPLA, featuring presentations on patents, trademarks, copyrights, IP ethics, data privacy, AI, and more.
Registration and a light breakfast with coffee will open at 7:30 am and presentations begin at 8:00 am. At approximately 12:00PM, lunch will be served and the annual meeting will commence. Presentations will recommence at approximately 1:00PM.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) will be provided on a wide variety of intellectual property topics including:
- Patent Practice and Healthy Filewrapper Maintenance presented by Luke Mohrhauser (Managing Partner, McKee, Voorhees & Sease, PLC)
- Ethics before the USPTO (presenter is TBD)
- Trademark Dilution presented by Professor Craig W. Dallon (Creighton University School of Law)
- Diversity and Elimination of Bias in Intellectual Property: Bridging the Rural-Urban Divide (presenter is TBD)
- Intellectual Property Commercialization and Technology Transfer presented by Joe Runge (Published Scientist and Intellectual Property Attorney)
- Intellectual Property Litigation and Trade Secrets presented by Nicholas F. Miller (Shareholder, Brick Gentry P.C.)
- Intellectual Property Procurement in Foreign Jurisdictions presented Donna Suchy (Intellectual Property Author)
IIPLA will host a reception on Thursday, October 15th, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at McCormick’s 1894 with appetizers and a cash bar. Please indicate in your registration if you plan to attend the October 15th reception.
**Schedule and speakers subject to change, IIPLA will apply for 6.5 hours of CLE credit.
